Strengthening Agroforestry Programmes in Higher Education  for Food Security in Sub-Saharan Africa.

Objetives

1. To improve livelihoods of Sahelian and Horn of Africa rural population and enhance sustainable land management
2. To offer quality Higher Education in Agroforestry and related thematic fields at four Sub-Saharan Universities
3. To update and strengthen the capabilities of professors and Adm. Service staff at these Universities
4. To promote Inter-University collaborative programmes between sub-Saharan countries and EU countries focus on Agroforestry and cross-cutting programs

To facilitate agroforestry knowledge transfer from Universities to rural populations
